MJ graduated in 1999 from ICT Northumberland College in Halifax. After graduation she went on to complete the CMTO board exams in Toronto. She has been a has been a member of the Massage Therapist’s Association of Nova Scotia ever since.

MJ has been part of St. Margaret's Bay Massage Therapy since 2012 and prior to that worked in numerous multidisciplinary clinics within HRM. This allowed her to gain experience helping adults, children and athletes achieve optimal muscular health.

MJ has focused most of her time on deep tissue massage techniques, pregnancy treatments, infant massage and, in the last few years, she has enjoyed working with athletes.

Now that MJ's two children Evan and Amber are getting older and her little sidekick Bruno is trained, MJ decided to make a big change in her career last year and is now working for the Province of Nova Scotia full time. However, she does continue to provide massage therapy on a part-time basis.
