Alicia Doucette, BSc, RMT

Alicia graduated with honours from the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy (CCMH), receiving an award from the Massage Therapists’ Association of Nova Scotia for her professionalism and patient care.

Alicia participated in several special clinics at the school including neuro clinic and addictions clinic. Neuro clinic is dedicated to providing safe and effective massage therapy to persons living with various neurological disorders. The Addictions Outreach clinic provided massage therapy to persons in an intensive detoxification program to help them successfully complete the program.

Trained in Swedish Massage, Trigger Point Release Therapy, Cupping Massage, Indian Head Massage and Fascial Work, Alicia strives to meet each client’s treatment goals through providing individualized treatments in a safe and non-judgmental space. She believes in providing information and home exercises to encourage her client’s active participation in their own well-being.

Alicia gives back to the community through volunteering with her Great Dane, Svarog, as a pet therapy team visiting an enhanced care facility in Halifax.

Outside of work Alicia can be found riding her horse, walking her two Great Danes or spending time with her family and friends.
