Mary Jane Mallett-Longley (MJ), RMT

MJ started working at St. Margaret’s Bay Massage Therapy in April 2012. Previous to that MJ worked at Nova Spinal where she had been since the spring of 2004. She came to us with 13 years of experience helping adults and children enjoy optimal muscular health.

MJ has two young children (Evan and Amber) who are able to enjoy the benefits of the child/infant massage course she took in 2007.

In 2009 MJ studied Hot Stone massage which offers her clients a very soothing and therapeutic treatment to increase circulation which will aid in healing and relaxation. MJ is graduated from Northumberland College in 1999 and has been an active member with the Massage Therapy Association of Nova Scotia ever since. MJ has focused most of her time on deep tissue massage, pregnancy and infant massage as well as Hot Stone therapy. Some of the more current studies MJ has been involved in include deep tissue technique in 2006 and again in 2012, Jade Stone Massage and Indian Head Massage that has greatly benefited her clients. In 2007 MJ also studied Infant Massage allowing her to teach parents soothing massage techniques that they can apply to their own children enhancing the bonding experience between parents and children.
MJ welcomes clients old and new to join her here at St. Margaret’s Bay Massage Therapy and always has time to answer any questions you may have regarding traditional, infant or Hot Stone massage therapy treatments.
